Laramie

Bizarre stone formations rose out of the scrub, a northerly March of sentinels (limestone, feldspar?) almost too regular in shape. Violently new, yet rounded with the eons. I felt a shiver in the face of such enormity and something so alien.

Not much farther, and Laramie came into sight. A town that was less cowboy and more coed.
